How it all began . . .

We were 13 years old when we first met; through my cousin Daniel a.k.a his best friend! We liked each other but we didn't get along at first. I was busy playing a game called "The prince of Persia" when Sheldon asked me for a turn; and my reply was .. wait, i haven't died yet. He got upset and said "I'm going to tell your cousin that you're not sharing!" And he did! (ha ha). Later on i heard him singing with my cousin in the room and i thought wow, whose that? I had no idea what song they were singing but all i could remember was; "As we stroll, along together"?

Fast forward ...

Two years and a bit have passed; my cousin Daniel and his family were moving into their new home. Sheldon was there but i didn't recognise him because we had only met once. I heard him ask Daniel and my other boy cousins "whose that"? Daniel replied "my cousin, so your not allowed to like her!" It was the school holidays so Sheldon and i hung out at Daniels a lot not knowing that we both secretly developed a crush on each other but he would be breaking the bro code and i didn't want to risk anything.

Sheldon and i kept talking and i finally told Daniel i like Sheldon and he said "I don't want to hear it". and went to play basketball with Sheldon and my other boy cousins. Sheldon told me that he confessed to Daniel he likes me and wants his permission to court me. Daniel was a bit hesitant but made him a deal to buy him a $10 fish n chip special with his favourite fizzy drink! (ha ha) Sheldon agreed and we became an official couple. I finally got to ask him if he remembered the first day we met; he said "yes" and then i asked if he remembered the song he was singing that day? he said "yeah, that's All 4 one; so in love" i was secretly singing that to you! And now that's "our song".
