Dr daddy Daddy cutting the cord Our daughter and i are very lucky and grateful to have this amazing man in our lives! I can remember this day (or should i say few days LoL) as if it were yesterday; Thursday evening he finished work and took me straight to the hospital because my midwife Bev Hyde said that I've developed preeclampsia, my water didn't break until Friday at 4:30pm and i didn't fully dilate until Saturday at 5:17am! No epidural, no food since Thursday and broken naps later...it only took me 13 minutes to push!! (apparently the fastest record according to my midwives that night). During those 13 minutes; Persia's heart rate was slowing down; so as a new mom, i was worried and when she finally arrived (with the help from her daddy) I was expecting to hear her cry (like most babies do) but she had her umbilical cord wrapped twice around her neck! Fast lane 8/11/2015 Sheldon and i had a newborn baby girl! Then he was on an aeroplane to Australia to visit his family. I was finally driving and on the way home, I saw an aeroplane about to crash at the airport but i woke up before it did! A dream come true

Giggles and struggles 24/9/2016 Persia learnt how to laugh for the first time. It was so cute!  Mommy is so happy that i was the first person to make you laugh, for your first time ever! My dream changed , i was with my cousin Fabian and he was telling me about how he goes to church. He started confiding in me saying; "ever since he started going back to church, he's been struggling with money". Then my aunty Alisi and uncle Michael came over for a visit, asking if we had an air mattress that they could borrow. 

First time parents The beginning of our little family 23/7/16 Baby daddy delivers our princess I am so amazed to have such an incredible partner that was so brave and eager to help our midwife deliver our beautiful daughter. Not many men are willing to witness the birth of their child because they can't stand the sight of blood, or they're too scared to look; and some faint (like my father did according to my mother). Sheldon really wanted a baby girl; so i am glad that my handsome fiance was the "first" to see and hold our daughter before me or anyone in this world.
