Baby daddy delivers our princess

I am so amazed to have such an incredible partner that was so brave and eager to help our midwife deliver our beautiful daughter. Not many men are willing to witness the birth of their child because they can't stand the sight of blood, or they're too scared to look; and some faint (like my father did according to my mother). Sheldon really wanted a baby girl; so i am glad that my handsome fiance was the "first" to see and hold our daughter before me or anyone in this world.

The moment i became ''mum''.

I can remember this day so vividly.

Thursday 21st i had to go into the hospital to get induced because i had developed preeclampsia; so the midwives decided i needed to be induced and let me stay overnight to monitor me and baby. Friday 22nd in the afternoon; my fiance' decided to go home to grab a few things and my water finally breaks! At that moment; my baby daddy calls to say "the car broke down on the motorway and it's raining heavily! I told him my water broke and my contractions are really close that the midwives reckon i could have a fast labour! We both panicked as we thought he might not make it in time for the birth.

Contractions were strong and painful but i had only dilated 2cm! My family went home to get some rest. Saturday morning 3am i had dilated 8cm; and by then i was so exhausted! i hadn't slept or eaten since Thursday afternoon and my midwife Amber said to call my family to come back "it's time". My family walked in as i was giving birth, while my handsome brave fiance' helped deliver our daughter into this world! The most painful 13 hours in labour but pushing out our daughter in 13 minutes was easy. The love you feel for your baby as soon as they're born, is something you can't explain; it's like love on another level and i felt that immediately.

Love casts out fear

Perfect love 1 John 4:18:19 There is no fear in love , but perfect love casts out fear . For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. Our gift from God

Dream diaries

Epic fail 9/9/2009 I was with my cousin Phoebe; i gave her my bag to hold before we went for a walk, we stopped at a party and i asked for my bag. "I left it in my moms car" she said; so we went back to her house without knowing a bunch of teenagers followed us and tried to steal Phoebe's car! The teenagers got a shock when the entire family came from the back of the house and went after them.
